Anti-Bullying Outcomes and Indicators for Grades 1-5
Curricula address anti-bullying through a combination of learning outcomes, teaching and learning contexts, varied instructional approaches, and high quality resources. Some curricula include specific outcomes and indicators while others include contexts or themes through which to deepen students’ awareness of the harmful effects of bullying, create and demonstrate empathy for others, and increase respectful behaviours. The following are some examples of how curricula are related to anti-bullying for students in Kindergarten to Grade 5.
